PUT THE GLASS DOWN

A lecturer was giving a lecture to his student on stress management.

He raised a glass of water and asked the audience, "How heavy do you
think this glass of water is?"

The students' answers ranged from 20g to 500gm. "It does not matter on
the absolute weight. It depends on how long you hold it. If I hold it for
a minute, it is Ok.

If I hold it for an hour, I will have an ache in my right arm. If I hold
it for a day, you will have to call an ambulance.

It is the exact same weight, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it
becomes."

"If we carry our burdens all the time, sooner or later, we will not be
able to carry on, the burden becoming increasingly heavier."

"What you have to do is to put the glass down, rest for a while before
holding it up again."

We have to put down the burden periodically, so that we can be refreshed
and are able to carry on.

So before you return home from work tonight, put the burden of work
down. Don't carry it back home. You can pick it up tomorrow.

Whatever burdens you are having now on your shoulders, let it down for a
moment if you can.

Pick it up again later when you have rested....

A small little story i would like to share.
Take some time to read it. Thanks people

Once upon a time there was a bunch of tiny frogs who arranged a running competition. The goal was to reach the top of a very high tower.

A big crowd had gathered around the tower to see the race and cheer on the contestants

The race began....
Honestly...

No one in crowd really believed that the tiny frogs would reach the top of the tower.
You heard statements such as:

"Oh, WAY too difficult!!"
"They will NEVER make it to the top

"Not a chance that they will succeed. The tower is too high!"

One by one.. the tiny frogs began to collapse..
Except for those, who in a fresh tempo, were climbing higher and higher!
The crowd continued to yell, "It is too difficult!!! No one will make it!"
More tiny frogs got tired and gave up.
But ONE continued higher and higher and higher! This one wouldn't give up!

At the end, everyone else had given up climbing the tower. Except for this one tiny frog who, after a big effort, was the only one who reached the top!!
THEN all of the other tiny frogs naturally wanted to know how this one frog managed to do it?

A contestant asked the tiny frog how he had found the strength to succeed and reach the goal?
It turned out..
That the winner was DEAF!!!!

The wisdom of this story is:
Never listen to other people's tendencies to be negative or pessimistic
because they take your most wonderful dreams and wishes away from you
-- the ones you have in your heart!

Like what I always say..
If you got nothing good to share, just shut up!!!

Always think of the power words have.
Because everything you hear and read will affect your actions!
Therefore ALWAYS be.... POSITIVE!
And above all:
Be DEAF when people tell YOU that you cannot fulfill your dreams!
